In Situ
The property in which Appr. is housed regularly provides the setting for exhibitions and other activities. Once a coach house for French army officers, this 18th-century building offers appropriate surroundings and an historical backdrop for contemporary themes and movements in the arts and culture.
Ex Dominus
The formats of the in situ exhibitions drive larger projects created for museums, public spaces or special occasions.
One of the projects currently under development is “From the Centre, thrice………to th’Utmost Pole”, which will be presented in 2011. The exhibition shows transformations of classical iconology into contemporary art. The exhibition considers the Romantic era as the most renewing period of the last centuries.
